§ Mr. FIELDasked the Secretary to the Treasury whether he can arrange to have the salaries of the national teachers of Ireland paid monthly; whether he is aware that much hardship, loss, and discontent arise from the system of quarterly payments; whether he is aware that for some years past complaints have been made and promises given; and whether those promises will now in war time be put into operation?
