Mr. SAMUELNo such instructions have been issued to the police in Ireland, and I am not aware of any case in which, apart from the effect of No. 27 of the Defence of the Realm (Consolidation) Regulations, the wearing of badges—"mourning republican" or not—has so far been forbidden.
