§ Mr. ACLANDThere has been no fresh case of foot-and-mouth disease confirmed since 11th February, the date of the outbreak at the Wells County Asylum. The restrictions upon the movement of animals in the district which were prescribed on that date are still in operation, with the exception of certain small modifications affecting those parts of the scheduled area which are at a greater distance than, approximately, ten miles from the asylum.
