§ Mr. HASLAMasked the President of the Board of Trade whether the prices of all classes of coal in the South Wales coal district will be fixed by the Government; if so, will any increase in the amounts received owing to an increase in the market prices be paid to the Exchequer; and whether the rates of wages and the profits of the mine owners will be settled during the War by the adoption of such fixed prices?
Mr. ROBERTSI am not at present in a position to make a statement with regard to the financial arrangements in connection with the Government control of the South Wales coalfield.
