LONSDALEasked the President of the Board of Trade if he is able to state the result of his inquiries into the position of the Ganymede Society and Geneva Society; if he is aware that English waiters have been practically compelled to become members of these organisations in order to obtain employment; and if, having regard to the effect that the societies are under alien control, he will take immediate steps to prevent them from operating in the United Kingdom?
