Mr. ROBERTSIn estimating very roughly the reduced quantities of grain and sugar which are now used for the manufacture of beer and spirits account was taken of the distillation of spirits for all purposes. It is not advisable, in my908W opinion, to publish separate particulars with regard to the amount of material used in distilleries for munitions purposes.
