§ Mr. FORSTERThe campaign in German South-West Africa was conducted by the Government of the Union of South Africa, with naval and military assistance furnished from Imperial sources. Since no Imperial officers were concerned with the conduct of the operations, no dispatches have been received concerning them by the Secretary of State for War.
