§ Lord R. CECILHis Majesty's Ambassador at Washington has not yet reported that any appeal has been lodged. I regret that I have not the necessary information to enable me to reply to the last two parts of the question, but I will cause inquiry to be made. I presume that the damages which the hon. Member has in mind are damages for the continued detention of the vessel pending an eventual appeal.
