§ Mr. RUPERT GWYNNEasked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether Army Order 218 of 1915, relating to a time limit for applications for separation allowances for soldiers' dependants, is for the present held in abeyance; and, if so, what steps have been taken to acquaint soldiers, dependants, and the public of this fact?
§ Mr. FORSTERThe Order has been held in abeyance pending experience of the new system of claiming separation allowance for dependants introduced on the first of this month. I will consider the suggestion that a public notification should be made.
