§ Mr. RUSSELLThe detailed figures asked for by the hon. Member will be found in the Agricultural Statistics for the year 1914–15, recently issued by the Department. As to the latter portion of the1212W question, the Department are not responsible for the carrying out of the division of untenanted or other land in Ireland, their duties in this connection being confined to the assisting as far as possible, by means of expert instruction, and in other ways, the new holders after they have been placed upon their farms.
