§ Mr. ACLANDThe hon. Member is mistaken in thinking that any such sinking fund was ever created. The proposals made with this object were abandoned, and the local taxation duties imposed by the Act 53 Vict., c. 8, were allocated as directed in the Act 53 and 54 Vict., c. 60.
