HC Deb 04 February 1915 vol 69 cc163-4W
Mr. KING

asked the Under-Secretary of State for India whether the right hon. Member for Walton is appointed Eyewitness with the Indian troops at the front; if so, whether he has made any Report to the India Office or to the Government of India; and whether it is intended to publish any Reports which he may send Home?

Mr. C. ROBERTS

The right hon. Gentleman the Member for Walton is not making Reports to the India Office or the Government of India. He is engaged in supplying accounts of the doings and life of the Indian troops at the front to serve as material for distribution, primarily to the Press in India. Use has been made and is being made of this material.
