§ Mr. ACLANDThe number of proof gallons of spirits has increased in the second period named from 19,997,000 to 20,049,000, or by 53,000 proof gallons. The number of barrels of beer has decreased from 20,702,000 to 17,859,000, or by 2,843,000 barrels. I will circulate rather fuller figures with the Votes.
