§ Mr. KELLYasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether the Donegal County Council may now regard the sum available for sanatoria buildings under the National Insurance Act as £4,606, less the actual sums paid by them for beds in Peamount Sanatorium, occupied by patients from the county, or is the county council under obligation to pay for a certain number of beds annually in Peamount Sanatorium, whether occupied or not; and, if so, for how many?
§ Mr. BIRRELLFrom the share of the Grant based on population is deducted the capital cost of the beds taken in perpetuity at Peamount by a county council; but the county council is only responsible for maintenance charges while the beds are occupied by patients sent by such council.
