HC Deb 19 November 1914 vol 68 cc565-6W
Sir HAROLD ELVERSTON

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War what provision has been made for the drainage of the building, etc., at Handforth Cheshire, where a large number of German subjects are interned; and whether competent persons consider the arrangements adequate?

Mr. TENNANT

This has been considered by military sanitary officers and by the local authorities. It is not anticipated that insanitary conditions will arise. Should it be found that there is any danger, a scheme to deal with it has already been drawn up.
