§ Mr. WILLIAM THORNEasked the Chief Secretary whether he has received a Copy of a resolution passed by the Belfast Trade and Labour Council protesting against the assertion that the recent meeting in Belfast, held in the Ulster Hall, purporting to pledge the workers of the city to oppose Home Rule, was in no sense a labour gathering, and that a number of delegates stated that delegates were not sent from their trade unions; and if he will have inquiries made as to the constitution of the meeting in Ulster Hall?
§ Mr. BIRRELLI have not received a copy of the resolution referred to, and I do not think anything would be now gained by the institution of the inquiries referred to in the last paragraph.
