§ Mr. WORTHINGTON EVANSasked the Postmaster-General whether he will have inquiry made into the complaints that the nine lines Victoria 7120 are constantly reported engaged and ascertain the cause of the more than usual inadequate service given in respect of them?
§ Mr. HOBHOUSEThe matter referred to by the hon. Member is receiving careful50W attention. It appears from inquiry which has been made that at least some of the difficulties are due to causes outside the control of the Post Office, but steps are being taken with a view to secure a more satisfactory service.
