asked the Secretary to the Treasury the total amount allocated to county Armagh from the Road Improvement Fund, and how much has been paid in Grants to the present time; and what progress has been made with the distribution of the Grants, amounting to about £100,000, upon which the Road Board were engaged in May last?

The total of the Grants made or indicated to county Armagh amounts to £11,080, and of this sum £4,120 has been paid to the county council on their requisitions as the work in progress has proceeded. Since May last the Road Board have definitely indicated Grants to county councils in Ireland amounting in the aggregate to £114,862.
