HC Deb 17 February 1914 vol 58 c793W
Mr. HICKS BEACH

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he has received complaints to the effect that various railway companies are charging increased rates for the carriage of milk to the extent of from 4 to 16 per cent. over the rates in force prior to the passing of the Railway and Canal Traffic Act, 1912–13; and, if so, whether he has made any representations to the railway companies concerned?

Mr. BURNS

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave yesterday to a similar question asked by the hon. Member for the Wilton Division.
