asked the Secretary to the Treasury whether he will state the assessment made for maintenance rate by the Garristown and Delvin Drainage District Board in each of the years since the formation of the board, the gross expenditure in each year, and the amount spent in direct labour in each year, respectively, down to last year?

According to information furnished by the secretary to the Drainage Board no maintenance rate was struck from the constitution of the district until the end of the year 1901. The following is an account of subsequent assessments and also a record of the gross expenditure in each year and the amount spent in direct labour:—
