HC Deb 03 April 1914 vol 60 c1506W
Mr. CAMPION

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that hardship is inflicted on the permanent staff of Territorial Infantry regiments under the new Regulations of two-year appointments, owing to the difficulty of obtaining housing accommodation and the expense of procuring furniture; and whether he will consider the advisability of providing permanent furnished quarters on a similar scale to married quarters in barracks?

Mr. TENNANT

The difficulties referred to are now engaging the attention of the Army Council.
