Mr. ROBERTSONI am circulating a statement printed with the Votes showing the number of unemployment books issued to workpeople in each of the insured trades up to and including 3rd May. The number of persons in each trade who have applied for unemployment benefit under the Act cannot be given until the annual satistics are ready, but I am including in the printed statement figures showing the number of unemployment books remaining lodged at 25th April by workmen in each of the insured trades. The statement referred to is as follows:—
