§ 17. Mr. HUGH LAWasked the Secretary to the Treasury whether he has received any complaints of the hardship occasioned to the travelling public from the absence of any heating arrangements in the carriages of the Lough Swilly Railway Company; and whether, having regard to the fact that under its agreement with that company the Treasury receives a sum estimated at £2,000 per annum from the receipts of the Burton-port and Carndonagh extensions, the Treasury will be prepared to make a small grant towards the first cost of equipping the railway with some form of heating apparatus?
§ Mr. MASTERMANI understand that one complaint has been received by the Board of Works in the last fifteen months. The provision of heating arrangements is entirely a matter for the Lough Swilly Railway Company.
