§ Mr. McKENNAThere are two Church of England chaplains, namely, one chaplain, at a salary of £300 per annum, rising by £10 per annum to £400 with quarters, and one assistant chaplain, at a salary of £200 a year; and one Roman Catholic priest, who is a part-time officer and receives £100 per annum. In addition, one Wesleyan minister, one Congregationalist (representing the Free Church Council), and one Rabbi visit the prison regularly, but give their services gratuitously.
