HC Deb 23 April 1913 vol 52 cc380-1W
Mr. J. M. HENDERSON

asked the Postmaster-General what the telegraph revenue for 1911 and 1912 was for each of the following towns: Bradford, Coventry, Carlisle, Gloucester, Exeter, Aylesbury, and Worcester?

Mr. HERBERT SAMUEL

Time has not admitted of my obtaining this information; but I may say that the main underground system was taken through the places named because, they happened to lie, on a route adopted for other reasons and not on account of their telegraph traffic or population.
