HC Deb 17 April 1913 vol 51 c2142W
Lord CHARLES BERESFORD

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty why a good service pension for inspector-general (retired) which became vacant on 31st January, 1913, by the death of Inspector-General John Fisher, has not been awarded; and whether he is aware that the vacancy not being filled up is considered to be unfair to officers already retired?

Mr. CHURCHILL

The matter has been receiving careful consideration and the vacancy will be filled shortly.
