HC Deb 14 April 1913 vol 51 cc1657-8W
Sir F. FLANNERY

asked the Postmaster-General if his attention has been called to complaints of the inhabitants of Earl's Colne as to the defective post office accommodation; whether he is aware that the present post office is no better than it was 20 years ago, whilst the work passing through it has increased enormously in the interval, including the telephone; and whether better accommodation will be provided?

Mr. HERBERT SAMUEL

The accommodation at the Earl's Colne sub-post-office was considerably improved in 1901 when the office was moved to the present site, and the reports before me show that the premises afford ample accommodation for the business conducted.
