Delap, county Donegal; whether a settlement has been arrived at with regard to the arrears of interest in the cases of Patrick M'Laughlin, John Floyd, and John Kelly; and whether he is aware that it is almost a year ago since the Estates Commissioners directed inquiries to be made in these cases, and that the inspector's report regarding these cases was received in June last?
§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Estates Commissioners have sanctioned free grants to the five reinstated evicted tenants referred to by the hon. Member to assist them in working their holdings. No arrears of interest in lieu of rent are now due by McLaughlin, Floyd, and Kelly referred to in the latter part of the question.
