§ Mr. LYNCHasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether his attention has been called to cases in which joint stock banks, or their agents, in Ireland, acting as treasurers to public bodies, have canvassed for insurance business from boards of guardians and rural district councils, and accepting commissions for obtaining such business; and, if so, in view of the Prevention of Corruption Act, whether any action will be taken in the matter?
