HC Deb 11 November 1912 vol 43 cc1752-3W
Lord CHARLES BERESFORD

asked why the pensioner shipwrights employed on Whale Island have not been granted the 6d. a week increase in their wages given to shipwrights in His Majesty's dockyard; whether he is aware that these pensioner shipwrights are borne on the books of His Majesty's dockyard and lent to Whale Island; and whether the Admiralty will grant the 6d. a week increase in wages to the pensioner shipwrights?

Dr. MACNAMARA

The question of extending the increase to the men referred to is under consideration.
