§ Mr. CARR-GOMMasked the Secretary to the Treasury whether the Insurance Commissioners have made any inquiry into the stamping of the cards in the case of casual men employed in dock and riverside work; and, if so, whether he can state the result of these investigations?
§ Mr. MASTERMANI have nothing to add at present to the answer I gave to the hon. Member on 17th October. Investigations are taking place, and I hope at an early date to publish a Memorandum dealing with the application of the Act to casual labour.
