§ Mr. BIRRELLThe number of police drafted into the town of Wexford in connection with the recent strike was: From reserve at depot, 2 district inspectors, 2 head constables and 119 sergeants and constables; from other counties, 1 officer, 2 head constables and 80 sergeants and constables. As in the case of men drafted from the counties, portion of the cost of a reserve detachment calculated in accordance with the provisions of 37 and 38 Vic, cap. 80, Sec. 5, is recoverable from local rates.
