HC Deb 20 June 1912 vol 39 c1999W
Mr. KEIR HARDIE

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he has received a resolution of the Urban District Council of Aberdare, dated 10th June, 1912, calling attention to the inconvenience and danger to the travelling public owing to the restricted area of the platform of the Taff Vale station at Aberdare and the inadequate means of ingress and egress thereto and therefrom; and whether he can take any action to expedite the rebuilding of the station and thus remove the danger and inconvenience referred to.

Mr. ROBERTSON

I have seen a copy of the resolution referred to. The railway company have informed the Board of Trade that they have instructed their engineer to proceed with the reconstruction of the station buildings at this place forthwith.
