§ Mr. MASTERMANAn account of the receipts into and issues out of the Development Fund is made annually by the Treasury as prescribed by Section 2 (4) of the Development and Road Improvement Funds Act, 1909. The last report was House of Commons Paper No. 12 of 1912. The total advances recommended by the Development Commissioners are approximately:—

£ England and Wales 260,200 Scotland 121,900 Ireland 142,600 The apportionment between England and Wales and Scotland can only be regarded as approximate in both cases, as certain Grants were made to the Board of Agriculture and Fisheries for Great Britain as a whole. The Commissioners' Report to the Treasury under Section 4 (6) of the Act is being prepared and will be presented as soon as possible.
