THORNEasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that the firm of Liverpool brewers who supplies the beer for the canteen at the Liverpool barracks works the bar assistants seven days per week to the extent of ninety hours, and pay a wage of about 20s. per week; whether this is a breach of the Fair-Wages Resolution; and, if so, if he intends taking action in the matter?
