§ Mr. NIELDasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what number of Metropolitan police officers and men, respectively, have been withdrawn from the T Division, and how many of those are attached to or ordinarily employed in the parish of Chiswick; for what period have they been withdrawn and for what purpose; and when the inhabitants of Chiswick may expect to have their normal police protection restored to them?
§ Mr. McKENNAI would refer the hon. Member to the answer which I gave to a question by the right hon. Member for the Wimbledon Division of Surrey on the 1st inst. It is not in the public interest to disclose the distribution of the police in particular areas.
