asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether there are at present at Osborne College two cases of typhoid fever, two of bronchitis, one of pneumonia, and one of diphtheria; whether there are in the college altogether seventy people on the sick list; and, if so, what steps are being taken to prevent the various diseases from spreading?700W
There is one case of typhoid fever at Osborne, one of bronchitis, two of pneumonia, none of diphtheria. On the 18th instant seventy-two Cadets were on the sick list, almost all suffering from minor ailments. The case of typhoid fever is isolated, and the usual precautions are being taken.
