HC Deb 21 February 1912 vol 34 c699W
Sir C. KINLOCH - COOKE

asked whether the Chief Secretary's attention has been drawn to the posting in Mill Street, county Cork, and district of printed notices warning parents against letting their children join the British Army or Navy, and stating that a weak Army and Navy would mean the end of British tyrannical rule in Ireland; and whether he will state what action he proposes to take in the matter?

Mr. BIRRELL

On the 18th instant the police found notices of the nature referred to posted in the Mill Street District. They were at once removed by the police, but there is no evidence to show by whom they were posted.
