HC Deb 12 April 1912 vol 36 cc1603-4W
Mr. BENTHAM

asked the Postmaster-General whether he will give the names and qualifications of the independent telephone experts who are being retained by the Post Office for the purpose of supporting the Department's case before the Railway Commissioners with respect to the price to be paid for the National Telephone Company's system; and a statement detailing the actual experience of each of the said experts in the practical construction of telephone exchanges within the bounds of the United Kingdom?

Mr. HERBERT SAMUEL

I regret that it would not be in the public interest to give the information asked for by the hon. Member.
