HC Deb 12 April 1912 vol 36 cc1602-3W
Mr. NANNETTI

asked the Prime Minister, if it is the intention of the Government to ask Parliament for a Vote on account to give immediate relief to the sufferers from the recent coal strike in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The PRIME MINISTER

I am glad to say that the re-opening of the mines has already relieved the pressure of distress in many districts. No such expedient as that suggested by the hon. Member seems to be called for.
