§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Belfast Rural District Council have adopted a scheme for sixty-six cottages, thirty-six of which are in the Ballygomartin electoral division. Considerable difficulty has been experienced with regard to the sites proposed to be acquired, but alternative sites have792W been arranged for in some cases, and it is intended to sign a petition at to-day's meeting asking the Local Government Board to hold an inquiry into the scheme.
