§ Mr. MONTAGUThere are military detention barracks at nine places in India—namely, Poona, Aden, Dagshai, Hyderabad (Sind), Lucknow, Peshawur, Quetta, Trimulgherry, and Thayetmyo. The Secretary of State has no recent reports as to their condition, and has no reason to suppose that it is otherwise than satisfactory.
