§ Mr. HOBHOUSECoronation Medals only bear the effigies of the King and Queen, the effigy of the King being on the obverse and that of the Queen on the reverse. No emblems of any description have ever been placed on them, and it is not proposed to alter the traditional form of these medals, which are now in course of preparation.
