asked the First Lord of the Admiralty, if he will state, so far as the facts are officially published, the provision for new construction, armaments, and repairs in 1909–10, 1910–11, and 1911–12 for Great Britain, Germany, and the United States.


The figures asked for by the hon. Member are as follows:—

But it must be understood that these figures are only given with the qualification that, owing to the form in which the foreign Estimates are presented, material inaccuracies may have arisen in the separation by us of the various items.
