Captain MURRAYasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether any grant made by the Development Commission for the 1166W purposes of forestry will be administered by a competent department set up for that purpose?
§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEThe only grant for forestry recommended up to the present time by the Development Commission is in respect of afforestation in Ireland, in which case the administering department will be the Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction. I do not think it advisable to anticipate any recommendation which may be made by the Development Commission in the future for further advances.
