§ Mr. HAVILAND-BURKEasked the Chief Secretary whether the Estates Commissioners will consider the advisability of using their powers to acquire the Bailey estate at Erryarmstrong, near Clara, North King's County, as a congested district estate, the valuation of a majority of the tenants being under £7 and the estate containing 250 acres of untenanted land?
§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Estates Commissioners received in April last a memorial from the tenants on the estate of Mrs. Bailey, Kings' County, requesting them to acquire the lands of Erryarmstrong as a -congested estate under the Irish Land Act, 1909. The Commissioners asked for further information, which they received, on the 16th June, and the matter is at present under consideration.
