§ Sir E. GREYI am not aware of the sums actually spent on the Army and education in Egypt last year. In the Budget for 1910 the sum of £E504,942 was allotted to the Ministry of Education, and £E867,006 to the Ministry of War and the Army of Occupation. A further sum of £E27,490 was allotted for "special expenditure" to the Ministry of Education, and £E19,341 to the Ministry of War.
