§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEI have already announced that if the National Insurance Bill becomes law, I intend to effect some improvement in the conditions of superannuation of those elementary school teachers who are excluded from the National Health Insurance. I am not prepared to make any statement at the present time as to the manner in which such a scheme for the Scotch teachers would be financed, but I think I can safely say that the teachers will not be treated less favourably than under the draft scheme which has been put forward in pursuance of the Act of 1908.
