asked the Secretary of State for War if he would give a return of the number of men serving in the Army at Home under the age of twenty in the artillery, cavalry, and infantry, respectively; and if he would give the number of men serving in the Special Reserve who have not reached the age of twenty?

The figures for the rank and file serving in the Regular Army at home on the 1st February were as follows:—

Household Cavalry 120
Cavalry of the Line 1,955
Royal Artillery 4,994
Foot Guards 982
Infantry of the Line 16,247

As regards the Special Reserve the figures for the 1st October, 1910, are the latest available and are as follows:—
