§ Mr. GINNELLasked the Chief Secretary what answer, if any, he has given to the resolution sent to him by the Westmeath Nationalist Executive with reference to the neglected evicted tenant Mrs. Riggs, whose case is within the Evicted Tenants Act, and whose old farm is unoccupied; whether he will inform the House on what grounds Colonel Smythe refuses to reinstate her or sell the farm for that purpose, and why the Estates Commissioners do not acquire it compulsorily; and whether it is the practice of the Commissioners, when refusing a statutory right, to give no reason for the refusal?
